So, it's a slow week. Haven't gotten much writing done since we recently got 12" of snow and my girls are home on spring break. Plugging away still but haven't had as much time to write as normal.
This week, I'm putting my romantic suspense novel:
A Hero's Reward

A bitter and ugly divorce has turned Margaret Chisolm into a shy introvert who fears interacting with men. Instead she's chosen a life of solitude, focusing all of her efforts on raising her son. Greg Thompson lives across the street from Margaret and carries battle scars of his own. Beaten down by the custody loss of his children to his ex-wife, Greg takes comfort in books and movies, knowing that these tangible, but inanimate, objects can never hurt his heart.

Free Kindle title March 20th-24th - Dana's Renaissance Romp
I'll have one of my recent stories free from March 20th-24th.

I don't know that I'll get anything new published this week. I spent time working on improving the blurb and cover for:
A Hero's Reward
which was my release from last week. In addition I managed to contract a stomach flu. I find it difficult to write erotica while nauseated. On top of everything else I got my hands on a copy of the newest book in one of my favorite series (Jim Butcher's Harry Dresden series) and lost a day to reading Cold Days straight through from cover to cover.
I've got 11,000 words of my next release done but the story itself is not yet near to being complete. Probably about 20-25k on this one. It will be book #9 of "The Son of a Minister Series", tentatively titled:
"Erica's Erotic Education"
I'll keep plugging away at it and get it published once it is completed and proofed.

Kindle E-book - A Hero's Reward
So, I managed to get the novel I was talking about completed and published to Amazon. I used something similar to the blurb I suggested here:
Greg and Margaret have been divorced from their respective spouses for several years. Margaret has taken refuge in raising her son and has developed a raging case of shyness. Greg's ex-wife has custody of his children so he takes refuge in books and movies experienced alone.
Both are torn from their isolation when Greg rescues Margaret and her son. Spending time with each other causes them to remember that all members of the opposite gender are not like their previous spouses.
Greg attempts to help Margaret get her life together once more after it is destroyed in the incident which cast Greg in the role of a hero. Mental land mines and physical dangers plague their burgeoning relationship.

While it isn't my normal erotic genre, it does have some explicit scenes to help develop Margaret's character. I'm pretty happy with the way this book turned out. I'm sure there were a couple of things I could've done to make it better but for the life of me, I couldn't figure out what they were.
'Look inside' will give you a pretty good feel for the book if you think you might be interested but aren't sure. It doesn't go far enough to be into the true romance portion of the book but it establishes the main male character quite well.

This weeks free story will be:

It will be free from March 12th-March 14th.
My new story going up this week (at least I hope it will be up this week) is a departure from the straight erotic genre. The story is a romantic suspense (with an erotic element) clocking in at close to 60,000 words. Hooray for a novel length story (even if it is on the short end for a novel). I've been working on it for a while whenever I'd finish a new weeks story earlier than my desired submission date. It is slightly delayed in proofing although I hope to have it up in another day or two.
The title on it is tentatively:

New Story and this Week's Promotional Story
So, assuming I get it posted in time, my newest story should be live tomorrow (Mar 4th). It is:

Dana had a date and he was taking her to the renaissance fair. When he found out that she liked the fair he claimed to enjoy it as well before asking her to go with him. Unfortunately she found out that he had been lying. She abandoned him at the fair, with good cause, only to remember several hours later that he was her ride home.
